Squirrel’s Curl, by Karen Cain

Squirrel's CurlThis could be a picture book for a child or a parable for an older person.  Here’s what one reader posted on Amazon:  “This is such a cute story about a squirrel who obsesses over a small imperfection. A curl on the top of his head. He worries that he doesn’t fit in and that his imperfection might have long lasting implications on his ability to find true love.”

The author, mother of 6 and teacher of many more, is a longtime member of the Fairport Writers’ Circle.
